How can I pay?

By card. Card payments are handled by Stripe, so your card details never reach this site. Our privacy notice has more on who handles what.

How do I get in touch about an order?

Email hello@onemantents.co.uk with your order number.

Delivery

How much is delivery?

Free on orders of £30 or more. Under £30, it costs £3.95.

When will my order arrive?

Every parcel goes by Royal Mail Tracked 48, which typically takes 2 to 3 working days. The delivery page has the full detail.

Do you deliver outside the UK?

No. We deliver to UK addresses only.

Returns

How long do I have to return something?

30 days. The returns page also covers your rights under UK consumer law.

Kit

Do you sell family tents?

No. Everything One Man Tents sells is chosen for one or two people. Families are well served elsewhere.

Where am I allowed to wild camp?

It depends which part of the UK you're in. One Man Tents doesn't encourage anyone to break the law. Wild camping rules differ across the UK: it's permitted on most unenclosed land in Scotland under the Scottish Outdoor Access Code, and on the Dartmoor Commons in England. Elsewhere in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, you need the landowner's permission. Always check before you pitch.

How should I camp?

Leave no trace. Our Leave No Trace page takes each of the seven principles in turn, with a UK example for each.

The name

Why are you called One Man Tents?

The name describes the tent, not the person in it. A one man tent sleeps one adult. Who that adult is, is up to you.
