Wild camping starter kits

A starter kit answers the question every first-timer asks: what do I actually need? Each kit is a set of real products from our range, chosen to work together, so the tent, bag and mat suit the same nights. Pick the one that matches your first trip: a night alone, a wild camp from scratch, a night for two, or a better setup to replace old kit.

Questions people ask

Is a kit cheaper than buying the items separately?

No. A kit costs the same as buying its items one by one. What it saves is the research: every item is chosen to work with the others.

Can I change what's in a kit?

Yes. Most items offer a swap, such as a 2 man tent instead of a one man tent, and the kit's price updates to match. You can also skip anything you already own and buy the rest from each item's page.

Which kit should I start with?

If you already own a rucksack and want a first night on a campsite or a summer wild camp, start with the First Solo Night Kit. Starting from nothing and want hot food? The Wild Camp Kit adds a rucksack, stove and pot.

Is gas included with the stoves?

No. Buy a cartridge that fits the stove before you go.
